At Arcurve, we’re always bringing on new talent as we grow. And the latest Arcurvian to join the team is sales veteran, go-getter and long-time Calgarian,Richard Roskey as our Director, Sales. Richard will be responsible for expanding our footprint and delivering on our promise of customer satisfaction throughout North America.
Richard comes to us with nearly four decades of sales strategy experience and management in the technology, telecommunications and oil and gas service industries. He has held senior positions with Bell Canada, Q9 Networks, SprintCanada, Enerflex Systems and IBM Canada. As VP Western Region at Q9 Networks,Richard helped grow Q9's business from startup to 3000% growth before being sold to Bell in 2016 (we weren’t kidding when we told you we’re excited to haveRichard on our team).
Richard holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Calgary and has completed Executive Development programs with Richard Ivey School of Business and Harvard University. He has a solid track record of building creative strategies' for sales planning, sales process, and change implementation. A team player in senior sales leadership roles, Richard brings the best of his experiences gleaned from high-performance corporate cultures.

Career aside, Richard fits right into the Arcurve culture. He’s a dedicated family-man whose life motto has always been “live each moment like it’s your last.” He’s a self-proclaimed “foodie” (he and one of our co-founders, Jay, will have to compete for who wins the grand title there) and he balances dining out and the occasional glass of red wine with an active lifestyle of golfing(we know a few folks around here who will be happy to have another golf partner), cycling, swimming and hitting the ski slopes.
When he’s not working, Richard dedicates time to mentoring young adults pursuing their desired professions. He is a multi-faceted volunteer but holds an extra soft spot in supporting the awareness and advocacy for individuals with Down Syndrome – a cause close to his heart as his first-born daughter was born with Down Syndrome. He believes if you open doors, you open minds. Richard has held board positions with PREP, a school for the integration of children with DS and the Canadian Down Syndrome Society.
Richard remains excited to work in Calgary’s technology ecosystem. He finds the industry exciting and challenging. The opportunity to meet and work with intelligent, valued professionals and the positive impact on the industry in Calgary,Western Canada and North America is gratifying.
